First you need to figure out how many guests you are going to have in your party. I made this serving cake chart, to make it easy to know what size or how many tiers you can get for the number of servings or guests. If you want a two tier cake but there’s going to be just 12 guests in your party, be prepare to have some extra cake, which it doesn’t really matter because you can have cake for breakfast, cake with coffee, cake for snack and cake after dinner.
